1. Read your examination rules carefully
You may get in trouble if you breach exam rules. Read the rules carefully before your exam.
2. Check your computer settings
Make sure you have checked that your computer, camera and audio settings are appropriate for your online examinations. Do this before the day of your exam!
3. Don’t have prohibited materials
You are not allowed to wear wired or unwired headphones during your online exams. If you need quiet for the exam you can wear foam earplugs, or go to a library or another quiet location where you can focus. You also may not be allowed to look at your phone or look away from the computer screen during the exam.
4. Get documentation of any technical difficulties
If you have technical difficulties during an exam you should apply for special consideration as soon as your exam is finished. Try to get evidence of the issue to submit with your application.
5. You might be eligible for special arrangements
If your exam is scheduled between 10pm and 6:59am in your local time zone you may be eligible for special arrangements.
6. Apply for special consideration within 3 working days!
If you experienced illness, injury or misadventure apply for special consideration within 3 working days with documentation that covers the days you were impacted. If you cannot apply within 3 working days of the date of your examination contact us as soon as possible.
