The videos
Video 1: Language and Frameworks in the Movement
In this first instalment, members of the University of Sydney community talk about what it means to identify as mad, crip and/or queer, why reclaiming these words as identity markers matters, and how pride sits alongside language that has so often been used to pathologise.
Video 2: History and Leaders of the Movements
In this second instalment, members of the University of Sydney community reflect on the milestones, leaders and turning points that have shaped mad, crip and queer movements, and on how those histories are taking shape here in Australia and at the University of Sydney.
Video 3: Future Directions for Mad-Crip-Queer Pride
In this final instalment, members of the University of Sydney community talk about the challenges facing mad, crip and queer communities today, what stronger alliances between these movements might look like, and what they most want viewers to carry away from this series.
