International Students’ Network
The International Student Collective is made up of members of SUPRA that are international students.
SUPRA understands that international students frequently face many difficulties that domestic postgraduates do not — especially in relation to fees, visas, immigration, language and cultural barriers, and the general experience of being considered a source of revenue by the University. SUPRA is committed to the representation of international student issues and redressing the unfair exploitative practices.
SUPRA also understands that being a student from a different cultural background can mean it’s more difficult to participate in the student culture on campus. SUPRA is committed to ensuring that the International Postgraduate Students Network provides a means of social engagement, the network also aims to promote diversity culture communication and enrich the international postgraduate student campus experience.
International Student Officer – Zhenzhen Liu
The International Student Officer is responsible for representing students in the International Student Network and advocating on their behalf.

Hello! I’m Zhenzhen Liu, the International Student Officer at SUPRA. As a master’s student in IT and IT Management, majoring in cybersecurity, I’m passionate about supporting and connecting with the international student community. During my time at Usyd, I’ve been actively involved in SUPRA as a volunteer, participating in events such as fitness programs, the Chinese New Year celebration, and the Sydney Marathon. These experiences have allowed me to engage closely with fellow students and understand their unique challenges and needs.
My aim as the International Officer is to create an inclusive and supportive environment for international postgraduate students. I strive to be a voice for the community, organize engaging events, and help ensure that every student feels heard and valued. Feel free to reach out if you have any ideas or need assistance!
