I was delighted to be nominated and totally shocked to win an award. Reflecting on last night I can say that it is a wonderful event for strengthening the bonds of community between postgraduate research students and their supervisors and a lovely opportunity for students to express their gratitude to their supervisors if they wish to do so in this way.
