Higher Degree Research Administration Centre (HDRAC)

The Higher Degree by Research Administration Centre (HDRAC) provides administrative services to all higher degree by research candidates at the University of Sydney. HDRAC is the point of contact from enrolment through to graduation, and provides support around:

  • progress reviews
  • candidature variations
  • thesis examinations
  • Postgraduate Research Support Scheme (PRSS)
  • stipend payments

HDRAC is a good contact point for advice on the policy and procedures governing postgraduate research study. If you have an issue or concern, they can direct you to the appropriate person in your faculty or the University, or refer you to other services and resources to support your research.
