SUPRA Council vacancy: call for nominations!

September 2026

We are now accepting nominations to join SUPRA Council. This is a great opportunity for postgrad students to get involved and represent their peers. There is one (1) vacant seat on SUPRA Council.

To nominate, you must be a current postgraduate student at the University of Sydney (enrolled or suspended), and a SUPRA member. Become a SUPRA member. Candidates must provide their name, SID, Unikey and a 200-word candidate statement via email to the SUPRA President and Co-Secretaries at:

Candidates must also be nominated (seconded) by two (2) currently enrolled or suspended Usyd postgrads, who must complete and submit the Candidate nominator (seconder) form below by the close of nominations.

Nominations close: 5pm, Tuesday 22 September 2026.

Election details:

The election will take place during the September Council meeting.
Date: Thursday 24 September 2026
Time: 6:30pm
Location: Zoom.
