The election for the position of one (1) SUPRA Satellite Campus Officer for the 2026–27 term will be held from 5:30pm on Wednesday 29 April 2026 (Sydney time) online.

The role
The Satellite Campus Officer is an equity position and has a seat on the SUPRA Council. The duties and responsibilities of the role are defined by SUPRA’s Constitution [PDF 452KB] and the Duty Statement for the Satellite Campus Officer [PDF 233KB]. The position is a volunteer position and includes a stipend of up to seven (7) hours per week.
Nominations
Any currently enrolled postgraduate student studying at any University of Sydney satellite campus who is a member of SUPRA (or willing to become a member) is eligible to nominate themselves for the Satellite Campus Officer position, subject to the SUPRA Constitution [PDF 452KB] and SUPRA Electoral Regulations [PDF 235KB].
Nomination forms must be received before 11:59pm on Tuesday 28 April 2026 (Sydney time).
Voting in the election
Any currently enrolled postgraduate student studying at any University of Sydney satellite campus who is a member of SUPRA (or willing to become a member) is eligible to vote in the Satellite Campus Officer election. Voting will take place 5:30pm on Wednesday 29 April 2026 (Sydney time) at the online election.

The election
The election will be conducted in accordance with the SUPRA Constitution [PDF 452KB] and the SUPRA Electoral Regulations [PDF 235KB]. The meeting procedure will be:
- Introduction
- The Returning Officer is elected
- Election procedures are explained
- Candidates’ statements/speeches
- Voting takes place via secret ballots
- Scrutineers are appointed and votes are counted
- The Returning Officer announces the results.
Polling
The polling will be open after the candidate statements have been made. All eligible students must cast their votes during this time. The election is conducted in accordance with the SUPRA Constitution [PDF 452KB] and the SUPRA Electoral Regulations [PDF 235KB].
