On 13 May, approximately 20 students participated in the ‘World Dessert Tour’ – a delightful journey around the globe through the world of desserts. During the event, attendees not only enjoyed a selection of delicious international desserts but also learned about the cultural backgrounds behind each treat. From the elegance of French macarons to the comforting layers of Japanese Daifuku Mochi, each dessert told a story — one of tradition, flavour, and celebration.
The event created a relaxed and joyful atmosphere, allowing students to unwind during the busy mid-semester period. Many participants expressed that they were happy to have joined the event as it provided a great opportunity to make new friends and engage in casual intercultural exchange.
