Every year, postgrads nominate the teachers who've made a real difference to them for a SUPRA Teacher of the Year Award. Then a group of postgrad coursework student judges decide which teachers win. This year 64 teachers from across the University received 85 nominations, and we need a few more people on the judging panel.
If you're a coursework postgrad (grad cert, grad dip or master's) and you haven’t nominated a teacher for an award this year, we'd love to have you on the judging panel. You'll read through students' nominations, score them, and then get together with the rest of the panel to decide the winners. All up it's around 3 hours’ work between 22 September and 1 October 2026, and most of it you can do in your own time.
You'll get a $50 voucher, a certificate for your CV, and a seat at the 2026 Teacher of the Year Awards night on 13 October to see the people you chose get their moment.
