In this together: National Reconciliation Week

SUPRA acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the country on which we work and study on, the Gadigal people of the Eora nation, and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.

We live, work and study on this land today as beneficiaries of a racist, uncompensated and unreconciled dispossession, which occurred over 200 years ago.

Due to the history of dislocation and disenfranchisement and ongoing racism, many Indigenous people face economic, social and educational struggles not faced by non-Indigenous Australians.

In this together, the theme for National Reconciliation Week (NRW) 2020, encourages all Australians to reflect on the part they play on our journey towards reconciliation. SUPRA is committed to shaping Australia into a more just, equitable and reconciled nation. We must recognise the past, and the present, and we must do better moving into the future.
