Over the last few months, areas across New South Wales have experienced extreme weather, causing rivers to rise rapidly and thousands of people having to be evacuated from their homes. Thousands of homes, businesses and properties have been destroyed, and twenty-two people tragically lost their lives in New South Wales alone.

Much of the recovery and clean-up efforts are being undertaken by volunteers, and with more heavy rainfall expected over the coming days and weeks, it is crucial that these communities be supported.

The Sydney University Postgraduate Representative Association is proud to support those affected by the catastrophic flooding across New South Wales, and has donated $4500 to the Red Cross Flood Appeal.
