Save the 5-day simple extension!

The University of Sydney is currently trying to reduce the 5-day simple extension to just 3 days. SUPRA and the SRC have surveyed students, who overwhelmingly said they want simple extensions to remain at 5 days. SUPRA has heard students’ concerns, and we believe that 3 days is just too short. It’s not enough time to access your doctor, to recover from illness, or to deal with family emergencies.

SUPRA will be speaking in favour of the 5-day simple extension at the next Academic Board meeting on Tuesday 11 July 2023, and we encourage you to let the University know how you feel via our Facebook, Instagram or WeChat.
