As part of the semester 2 2024 round of SUPRA Social Impact Grant projects, 30 Usyd postgraduate students got together on Sunday 20 October to walk the 6km scenic coastal walk from Bondi to Coogee with cameras in hand.

Throughout the hike, students captured breathtaking views and exchanged photography tips and experiences. The event was held at the same time as the famous Bondi “Sculpture by the Sea” exhibition, so participants were lucky to enjoy the stunning sculptures along the way, appreciating the harmony of art and nature. The event concluded at Coogee Beach, where everyone gathered to admire the magnificent sunset over the ocean, marking a perfect end to the day.

The event not only fostered friendships among participants but also inspired a deeper love for photography in everyone, while providing a much-needed break from academic pressures. Thanks to all who participated in this special event!
