Many Research Training Program (RTP) scholarship holders are unaware that their scholarship comes with basic paid leave entitlements, including limited parental leave, sick leave and annual leave. These entitlements are not paid out when you complete your project, which means if you don’t use them, you lose them!

In order to access your leave entitlements, change your enrolment status to Paid Leave via RECS. You will continue to receive your scholarship, but do not consume RTP periods.
