Reaching out for advice and support at Usyd

20 October, 2020 at 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

Colourful painting of two hands making a reaching out gesture

Uni can be stressful at the best of times, and it can sometimes be hard to know where to turn for support. This webinar will look at support, advice, and advocacy services available to students within the University, and will help you learn how to decide which is the most appropriate service for a particular issue. It will help you to understand how you can access the services available, and what you can expect from that process. Open to FMH students only.

Presenters: Matthew Blake (CAPS counsellor), Melissa de Silva and Sharon Maher (SRC caseworkers), and Rillark Bolton and Heather Mabry (SUPRA caseworkers).

Register now.

A similar session is being held for staff on Wednesday, 21 October: Recognising and responding to students in distress.
