Health and Allied Health Deaf Awareness Training

Health and allied health students – including medicine, nursing, dentistry, physiotherapy, counselling, psychology and social work students – are invited to attend training specifically designed to improve their understanding of the d/Deaf community and some of the challenges the d/Deaf community faces.

The training will provide an introductory skill set to foster effective and respectful communication, interpersonal connection and understanding.

Training is provided by Signpedia.

This is a free event, but registration is required. Register now.

40 person maximum participation. Postgraduate students shall be given priority. Students must be studying in the field of health or allied health.
