Thursday 21 October at 5pm (Sydney time).

This peer-led discussion will explore tips and tools for HDR students on how to disclose your disability/s to your supervisory team and how to request academic adjustments. 1 in 5 Australians live with visible and non-visible disabilities that impact daily activities, studies, communication and mobility in various ways, including: physical impairments, people who belong to a sensory minority, people with emotional disabilities, people with cognitive challenges, and those with chronic/severe illness. Our panel will discuss their lived experience of disability as HDR students at Usyd, as well as the challenges and successes they have faced when navigating University administration and student services.

The panel discussion will be held via a zoom webinar with closed captioning.

This webinar is open to all HDRs, prospective HDRs, and those in other supervisory settings.
