Call for HDR student speakers

Expressions of interest for SUPRA × PERKS Seminar (May 2026) now open!

Are you a postgraduate research (HDR) student who identifies as LGBTQIA+ or whose research explores or impacts LGBTQIA+ communities?

SUPRA and Usyd’s Pride Network Education and Research Knowledge Sharing (PERKS) initiative are inviting HDR students to present their research at an upcoming seminar in May 2026.

This is your chance to share your research with a supportive audience, highlight scholarship that impacts LGBTQIA+ communities, and connect with other postgraduate researchers across disciplines.

We welcome expressions of interest from:

• LGBTQIA+ HDR students from any discipline
• HDR students whose research explores or relates to LGBTQIA+ topics, communities or issues.

Seminar details

• Presentation length: 10–15 minutes
• Format: short research presentation followed by discussion
• Audience: postgraduate students and members of the University community
