All HDRs on stipends (RTP, UPA, SISS) who are new parents can now access 12 weeks of paid leave over the course of their HDR candidature. SUPRA has been working with the University to increase the paid leave available under the ‘partner’ leave provisions, and to remove all gendering of parental leave provisions. Both of these changes have now been made. This is a great step towards gender and parenting equality.
